This guide explains how to invite users who need access to multiple orgs in Jam, such as a Training and a Recruiting org. This is simple using the email suffix approach.

Background

Jam users can only be active in one organization at a time with a single email address. This is for reasons of privacy and data protection.

Sometime users need access to multiple organizations on Jam, specifically for training and recruiting:

• Sales leaders who need to access both sales training content and recruiting assessment content
• Admins who manage multiple departments using separate Jam organizations
• Employee who partake in training but also apply for an internal position

There are two solution options if the same user should have accounts in two different orgs in Jam:

• Option 1: If users can be invited with different email addresses, no workaround is needed
• Option 2: When the same email address must be used twice, a small workaround is needed (adding a “+XXX” suffix to the mail).

Solution Options

Option 1: Use a Different Email Address (Simplest)

When to use: Internal candidates or users who have access to multiple email addresses (e.g., personal + company email).

How it works:

• Invite the user with their company email for the Training org: [email protected]
• Invite the same user with their personal email for the Recruiting org: [email protected]
• No special configuration needed - each email is treated as a separate user
